About Raw Trade S.L.
Raw Trade, S.L. is a company founded in 2006 by the Barrera family, a family with more than 80 years of presence and experience in the fertilizer industry in Spain. Our origins date back to 1940, with the creation and management in the Canary Islands of Industrias Químicas Canarias S.A. by Don Ismael Barrera Juan for the production and marketing of Superphosphates and NPKs fertilizers. Later, in 1950, the Compañia Insular del Nitrogeno S.A. (CINSA) was founded in Las Palmas to produce Ammonium Sulfate. Currently, Raw Trade S.L. is managed by their successors and is involved in the following activities: trading of commodities and raw materials (fertilizers, bauxite, sulfur, animal forages and construction materials), chartering of ships, and import and distribution of fertilizers in Spain. We are part of the Medifer Group, one of the main players in the production and distribution of fertilizers in Spain.
